Groundwater Pollution

A we know that Water pollution is happened huge ocean, lakes, and river and these water resources will call as Surface Water. The example is like a spill from an oil tanker creates an oil slick that can affect a vast area of the ocean.
By the way, Water Pollution also can happened in in underground rock structures known as aquifers, which we cannot see and seldom think about. This is we call as Groundwater. The example that we can take is when weed killers used in people's gardens drain into the ground.
Basically Surface Water and Groundwater have two types of water resources that pollution affects. If pollution comes from a single location, such as a discharge pipe attached to a factory, it is known as point-source pollution. A great deal of water pollution happens not from one single source but from many different scattered sources. This is called nonpoint-source pollution.
